The factory engine number I assumed was in sequence as was the serial number and that the factory engine class was the same as the previous 530 engine. Jim O'Donnell indicates this engine has two names but there is no indication of what date span each name had. Interesting that the engine didn't go on the books officially until 1937 and it was scrapped the year after while it's sister No. 530 lasted unitl 1945. It appears that we often don't see the engines officially transferred until they have to dispose of it. Steve
