The MV Kipawo at Courtenay Bay in Saint John, NB.[1] Other locations considered were Conception Bay, Newfoundland during WWII suggested by a possible Naval ensign on the mizzen-mast and the WWII British Naval System "Y" pennant on the fore-mast that indicates she is in Yard service as she was tending anti-submarine nets in the harbour.

Note the crew on the poop deck just like in the other photo we have of the crew portrait. Note also, the Red Ensign off the rear mast and the DAR flag on the centre mast.
