CSTM-STR04089b_001_aa_cs.jpg(600 × 460 pixels, file size: 75 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

The DAR's westbound Flying Bluenose prior to departure at the North Street Station in Halifax, circa 1912. Note that "Intermediate Stations" has been crossed out as the Flying Bluenose was a fast train and only stopped at major towns. This is a rare interior view of the North Street Station which was badly damaged in the 1917 Halifax Explosion and was replaced in January 1918 by a new station in South End Halifax.

The end car is probably the parlour car Haligonian or Mayflower.
