Built by the CPR Angus shops in February of 1907. It was loaned to the DAR in the 1920s but not officially transferred until 1937. After the slightly newer 0-6-0 [[DAR6227|No. 6227]] arrived in 1939, 6189 was scrapped at Kentville in May 1939.

Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 6189.
