This is a detailed report on the trackage, facilities and the  construction of Dominion Atlantic’s line from [[Windsor Junction]] to [[Windsor]], first known as the [[Windsor Branch]] of the Nova Scotia Railway and later as the [[:Category:Subdivision Halifax|Halifax Subdivision of the Dominion Atlantic]]  requested by the Nova Scoia Legilsature in 1857 for "the  employment  of  a  competent  Engineer,  unconnected  with  the  Railway works,  for  the  purpose  of  affording  the  fullest  and  most  authentic  information  to  the  public  with  reference  to  the  Railway,  the  amount  of  money  already  expended,  the  sum  required  to  complete  the  Line  to  Windsor  and Truro..."

Report on the Nova-Scotia Railway: its present condition and probable cost, by James Laurie, Civil Engineer, February 5th, 1858.

This is a detailed report on the trackage, facilities and the construction of Dominion Atlantic’s line from Windsor Junction to Windsor, first known as The Windsor Branch of the Nova Scotia Railway and later as the Halifax Subdivision of the Dominion Atlantic requested by the Nova Scoia Legilsature in 1857 for "the employment of a competent Engineer, unconnected with the Railway works, for the purpose of affording the fullest and most authentic information to the public with reference to the Railway, the amount of money already expended, the sum required to complete the Line to Windsor and Truro..."
