Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 387 "Cornwallis"

Wheel Arrangement: 4-6-0

Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in September 1897.

  • Builder No. 15479
  • 19" x 24" cylinders
  • 63" drivers.
  • CPR Class: D4f

It was built as a Canadian Pacific Locomotive No. 387 and transferred to the DAR in 1923. It was assigned DAR No. 17 but the number was not applied.[1] It was scrapped at Kentville in August 1925.[2]

Name Origin: Edward Cornwallis, English general and governor who founded Halifax in 1749.
