Hantsport is listed in 1873 as having a 18' x 11' water tank, perhaps similar to the Middleton Water Tower.^[1]

By 1931, the tank was a semi-enclosed octagonal water tower, located just west of the station on the north side of the tracks.

It is listed on DAR employee timetables in 1931^[2] through to 1951,^[3] but was gone by 11959.^[4]
