Acquired from CP in 1978.
This unit, along with VIA Rail No. 6147, made the final passenger trip on the DAR with the Halifax to Yarmouth run of the "Evangeline" Dayliner service on January 14, 1990. The return trip to Halifax, without passengers, in the early morning hours of January 15, marked the last trip made by an RDC on the DAR.[1]
