Dominion Atlantic Railway Boxcar No. 69938.
A 38 foot boxcar in the 69900 series which were specially built for apple service, most likely with insulated sides. They were built in 1911 and in service until 1939.(1) Lettered for the DAR, the were officially carried on the CPR boxcar list.
Specifications:
- Outside Length: 38'2"
- Outside Width: 9'10"
- Height, rail to running board: 13'6"
- Side doors: 5' wide, 7'7" high
- Capacity: 65,000 lbs, 1809 cubic feet (2)
