Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 15 "Annapolis"

Wheel Arrangement: 4-4-0

Built by Portland Works in January 1892.

  • Builder No. 623
  • 17" x 24" cylinders
  • 66" drivers.

This was built as Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway (Western Counties Railway) locomotive No. 4 "Annapolis" and retained its name after being acquired by the DAR.

It was scrapped sometime before 1920.

Name Origin: Annapolis, the town which the Western Counties Railway (briefly renamed in its final years as the Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway) sought to connect to its Yarmouth based line.
