Summary
Windsor Railyard with Windsor Textiles in the background, one half of a panoramic photograph by H.H. Reid, circa early 1920s.
Photo shows a boxcar lettered for Canadian National indicating a date soon after 1921 when the CNR began lettering its own fleet, but early enough that Grand Trunk lettered boxcars, also visible, remained in operation. Note the Dominion Atlantic Box car No. 1410 at centre left, one of the DAR lettered versions of the Canadian Pacific 36 foot Fowler boxcars.
