Built by Montreal Locomotive Works January 1912.

- 19" x 24" cylinders
- 63" drivers.
- CPR Class: D4g
No. 444 was listed as scrapped as of September 30, 1946 at Ogden Shops Calgary, Alberta after 33 years and 7 months of service (cprsteam.org).

The website CPRSteam.org says this locomotive was built at CPR Angus Shops.
