History

The Aldershot station served both the military based and the adjacent civilian community. It began with a standard 1890s Windsor and Annapolis style station but later had a two-story section houses added. A portion of the station was salvaged and moved to Mill Village after the station was demolished in the 1960s. Another station used by the army for troops and telegraph use on the Aldershot wye. It survives to be used by the Aldershot military band.
