Budd Serial no. 6220[1]
Photographic and archival evidence indicates this unit was in service on the D.A.R. from 1976 to 1977.
- 9049 arrived on the DAR sometime in December 1975 or January 1976 to replace wreck damaged No. 9067.[2]
- In February 1977, 9049 was involved in a level crossing fatality in Windsor, killing a truck driver.[3]
- Became VIA No. 6124 and sold in 1998 to Cuba.
