Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 538, "Grandfontaine".

This series of D6b locomotives (536 - 539) were built between November and December 1903. This particular loco at the end of the series was probably built in December 1903 by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow, Scotland. It is listed as a D.A.R. locomotive in 1941. [1]

A photo of No. 538, labelled "Grandfontaine", at Truro in D.A.R. livery exists in the Leon Barron collection[2] on page 1122, dated June 1940 at the Kings County Museum.
