Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 518 "Poutrincourt"
Wheel Arrangement: 4-6-0
Built Schenectady Locomotive Works, Schenectady, New York in November 1902.
- Builder No. 26765
- 20" x 26" cylinders
- 63" drivers.
- 54' 6" engine and tender wheelbase length
- CPR Class: D6a (1)
It was transferred to the DAR in 1937 and scrapped in April of 1949(1)&(2)
Name Origins:
- Jean de Biencourt, Baron de Poutrincourt, second governor of Acadia (1610-1615), the same name had been used by DAR No. 502.
