These are a couple pictures looking east at the Acaciaville station (mile 24.2 of the Yarmouth sub) in approx. 1927. [The other picture is at File:Acaciaville02.jpg - editor.] I hope they can be enjoyed and moved to the DAR preservation site as I haven’t seen any other pictures of this particular station. Note the east switch of the siding in this picture and the mail crane. There was a freight shed on the opposite side of tracks. The siding extended across Jordantown road, and at a later date was shortened to just the east side of the road. In the final couple of years it was removed completely. I just vaguely can remember the shortened siding with a rusted old CPR boxcar parked there.
