Scotian Railroad Society - News November/December 1980 - First CPR Steel Vans Arrive
The first steel cabooses arrive on the DAR noted in the Scotian Railroad Society News. 437474 is a typo and should read 437484, as indicated in SRS news, Feb/Mar 1981.

LOCAL NEWS
Recently observed in Kentville were the following CPR steel cabooses, 437474, 437483, 437496, and 437293. All of the old wooden vans have been removed from service and presumably scrapped.
