Paul is a life long rail fan of the DAR since watching it while living in the Greenwood area in the 70's. Paul is also a talented Microsoft Train-Sim developer and is currently working (March 2009) on creating the DAR in virtual scale on MSTS. The line is still in BETA but runs from Coldbrook all the way to Halifax. Of course, populating the line with structures and landscaping is the greatest part of the work and so at this point (BETA5) the line has been populated from Coldbrook and Steam Mills to Kentville and from Kentville to just outside of Falmouth. See our Forum for more up to the minute information on development of this virtual line.

Paul is a life long rail fan of the DAR since watching it while living in the Greenwood area in the 70's.

Paul is also a talented Microsoft Train-Sim developer and among other routes, is currently working (since March 2009) on creating the DAR in virtual scale in MSTS format. The simulation can be run with the original MSTS and now will run as well on (free!) Open Rails software.

The line is now released as Version 1 in full and runs from Coldbrook and Steam Mills all the way to Windsor Junction. The line is fully populated with many historical structures such as the Kentville Cornwallis Inn, Grand Pré Park, the DAR Kentville and Wolfville station as well as many unique DAR rolling stock items such as DAR lettered Dayliners, ALCO S3's and gypsums cars as well as the ubiquitous EMD SW1200s and many other standard rolling stock pieces with numbers as spotted on the DAR throughout the years.
