A sister to Grand Pre[2], this car began as the Canadian Pacific sleeper "Parkland", later renamed "Winchester". It was converted to a buffet observation car for the DAR in December 1923 and named "Annapolis Royal" after the town, an important tourism destination for the DAR. It was scrapped in August 1946.[3]
