SS Prince Albert
Prince Albert was a coastal steamer which carried passengers and freight connecting to DAR lines at Kingsport, Wolfville and to the Canadian National at Parrsboro. The twin screw Prince Albert replaced the smaller SS Evangeline on the Kingsport-Parrsboro service in 1904 and added Wolfville to the route. Continuing the DAR steamer tradition of "Prince" names, she was the smallest of the DAR fleet at the time but still bore a large brass DAR crest on her bows. She was replaced by the MV Kipawo in 1927 as the DAR needed a vessel which could better serve the growing automobile traffic.
