Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 6227

Built by the Canadian Pacific's Angus Shops in September of 1911. It was acquired by the DAR in 1939, replacing the older 0-6-0 No. 6189. Listed as a D.A.R. unit in both 1941[1] and 1947[2], it served until the end of steam when it was removed from the D.A.R. on December 30 1956[3] and scrapped in February 1957. Never given an official name by the DAR, it was nicknamed "the Old Goat" by train crews.[4]
