Roger Puta (1944 - 1990)
Roger Puta grew up along the CB&Q in the western suburbs of Chicago. We became a railfan in college and went to work for the Santa Fe and Western Pacific, living in the Washington DC area and San Francisco in the 1970s and 80s. Puta later ran a fleet of tour buses He focused considerable attention on passenger trains and traveled widely in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
