Albert "Shine" Manning (1923-1995)
"Shine" was a WW II vet and was a lifelong member of the Legion in Kentville. His conductor uniform is on display at the Memory Lane Railway Museum, including his jacket and his cap, as well as a pair of glasses that he wore. They also have a few photographs of him. He was the conductor on the day that Dayliner No. 9058 crashed into the Burro Crane and would often tell the story about how the impact of the crash was so great that some of the seats came right out of the floor.
