The Death Certificated listed his occupation as Railway Conductor, and that he was burried in Hantsport on the 8th of January 1929.

William Clarke was a conductor in the formative days of the DAR. He was in charge of early runs of the the Flying Bluenose and wrote a classic anecdotal history of the DAR about 1925 entitled Clarke's History of the Earliest Railways in Nova Scotia.


Based on the Death Certificate (Nova Scotia Genealogy) of William Wylie Clarke, Clarke pasted away on the 6th of Janurary 1929 (four years after he published his book). The Death Certificated listed his occupation as Railway Conductor, and that he was burried in Hantsport on the 8th of January 1929.
