Pulp Logs
Bowaters Mersey
From various locations along the D.A.R., logs cut to 4 foot lengths would be loaded into box cars for shipment to Bowaters Mersey Paper Co. pulp mill in Brooklyn, Queens County, on the south shore near Liverpool.

Minas Basin Pulp and Power received 4 foot pulp wood for the "Ground Wood Mill" in Hantsport on Bulkhead Flat cars designed for 4 foot pulp logs.
