It is believed that he was still working at the Wharf at the time of his death, although by that time, the wharf was at its current location at the entrance to the Annapolis Basin, rather than in downtown Digby. Charlie was also the Commodore at the Western Nova Scotia Yacht Club in Digby for many years. (2)
