=Canadian Pacific Railway Structure Upgrades 1912 - George G. Hare=

After the [[1911_-_Chapter_72_-_DAR_Lease_to_CPR_Authorized|Canadian Pacific Railway leased the Dominion Atlantic Railway]] in 1911, the C.P.R. embarked on a major upgrade campaign to bring the D.A.R. up to current C.P.R. standards. The C.P.R. transferred [[George Gray Hare|George G. Hare]], a civil engineer to lead the project.

A descendant of George G. Hare in 2025 donated a box of 150 photos of various structures in various stages that were to be, and which were upgraded (before and after) to the [[:Category:Hantsport & Area Historical Society|Hantsport & Area Historical Society]].
