The map shows the [[Yarmouth Station]] and [[Yarmouth Enginehouse]] as well as railway customers and inset views of [[Hebron]] and [[Weymouth]] in the era of the [[Western Counties Railway]]. The view of [[Yarmouth]] was one of a series of bird's eye view of Canadian towns and cities published in the 19th century. Other bird's eye views of DAR communities included the [[Bird's Eve View of Windsor Nova Scotia 1878]], the [[Bird's Eve View of Kentville Nova Scotia 1879]], the [[Bird's Eye view of Annapolis Royal & Granville Nova Scotia 1878]].
