Stumbled on these in Flickr while looking for pictures of Port Williams.
Date is January 6, 1954 and the lady is making a trip from Kentville to Los Angeles, California, where she appears to have stayed for about a month.

And the good news is...
Hugh said go ahead and put the images on the wiki site. Apparently even though Hugh resides in the US he lived right by the tracks at Horton Landing for 20 years. He said he'd probably really enjoy the site so lets hope he signs up and shares some memories with us! Thanks Hugh!
