Re: Wiki Stuff
You did create a page for Gerry. Here's the thing though, unless you put a [[category:something]] at the botttom of either a category page or an article page, it will not list in any other page index.
If that happens, go to the "Recent Changes" item on the menu, locate the entity you just created and go back and edit it so it shows up in the category you wanted.
In fact, I always check the "recent changes" first when I log on and take a look at all the new stuff for the day. WHen I'm not sure what was changed on changed item, I click on the history tab and then click on the "Compare Selected Versions" button to see what changes were made to a page.
So I helped out by changing Gerry to an article instead of a category and put the article on him into the people category. I did the same for Harry.
So now you can link text to the articles by putting [[Balsor, Harry]] or alternatively [[Balso, Harry|Harry Balsor]] for example in the photo descriptions.
You can also add a gallery to any section or page by simply putting the images name(s) between <gallery> and </gallery>.
Thanks for all your great editing up to this point Ric. You jumped in with both feet and I appreciate it!

Re: Wiki Stuff
Thanks Steve. I'll do that in a day or two. I don't have the time nor brain power right now.

Re: Wiki Stuff
How can you delete a redundant page or is that something only the adminstrator can do?
I have combined the two Locomotive No. 29 pages into a combined DAR0029 page, as we discussed, so now there is a couple of useless DAR0029 (1st) and DAR0029 (2nd) pages that should be eliminated. I think I have left a few other typo file names in one or two other places along the way.

Re: Wiki Stuff
Just use the "delete" tab at the top of the page you wish to delete and it's *gone*!

Re: Wiki Stuff
My screen has tabs for: Article, Discussion, Edit, History, Move, Watch.
I may be suffering from tunnel vision but I can't seem to see a Delete tab. Is it possible you have a special tab as the Admin guy?

Ah.. didn't realize that. I'll just delete the pages for now and try to figure it our later. I think I know what config files those permissions are in....
