DAR Photos

Post by Paul Charland »

A friend sent me these links of a few DAR photos that surfaced recently. Two show the gypsum train in 1991 with four SWs on the point, the other three show various RDCs in Rockingham and Bedford in 1979.

Those are nice photos. I wonder I anyone would do the legwork and hunt the photographer down asking for his permission to put them on the DARDPI?

I have e-mailed Glenn Courtney who is the owner of these photos. I asked if he might give permission to post the photos on the wiki site listed under his name. I asked that he check out the wiki and then get back to me. I hope the answer will be yes as the photos are nicely in focus and would be a great addition to the site. Brian Lilly

Glenn's father is Doug Courtney. He was a carman at Fairview. He is retired and lives in Truro. I believe Glenn lives in Oakville, ON.
