Don't think this is Kentville

As it says here http://www.dardpi.ca/wiki/index.php?title=DAR000091

It looks like a CN car behind and the building in the upper left reminds ne of the Westin Nova Scotian. there is no way of a track angle to get the Cornwallis Inn in the background with such a high subroadbed in Kentville yard.

I agree with Ric. That is the unmistakable top of the old Hotel Nova Scotian in the upper left. I changed the page and added some info about the car's history.

Hi Fellows,

Thanks for the correction on the location of this view. As a note, Bob MacIntosh told me his dad used to sit at a table and ID slides long after they were taken. We're talking months, sometimes years after the fact, so it's not surprising that some things are misidentified. If any of you suspect or know of an error such as this, do us all a favor and stir the kettle if nothing else. Part of the fun of this hobby is getting as much accurate information as possible and turning a mystery into historical fact. Take care,

Chuck,
I know what that is like. I still do it. I really should go through my stuff and look at some of the stuff that isn't easliy identified. Some poor bugger in 50 years will be doing what we are now.
