Looking For: DAR Winter Photo for "The Maritime Branchline"

Post by fergusontea »

I am one of the two editors of "The Maritime Branchline" magazine for the Maritime Federation of Model Railroaders (MFMR) and I was wondering if someone had a winter time photo of the DAR that we could use on the COVER of the next issue of the Branchline magazine?

Full credits will be given to the photographer (and owner, etc) of the photo, of course, but we do not have a budget to pay royalties. However, if you do not already receive the magazine, I will email you the PDF version of the magazine when it comes out in about 2 weeks!

You may contact mfmr.branchline@gmail.com

Thank you! :-)

I personally really like this one for a winter shot. I feel cold just looking at it.

Another beauty is:

Talk about winter!

Probably not good enough for publication:

And finally, probably not suitable either but defintely winter:

Let me know if any one of these strikes your fancy and I'll help you get in contact with the appropriate collector or photographer.

Steve, I'd like to use both of these on the back cover of The Maritime Branchline:

It will go to print this weekend. If you're a member of the MFMR, you'll receive a copy. :-)

The first one is a Gary Hadfield photo.

The second one will be more difficult as it is an A.L. Hardy photo from the Kings County Museum web site.

I'll send you their email addresses to your personal email address and good luck!
