Interesting!

"This properties history started out with the Dominion Atlantic Railway - warehouse storage, Middleton Fruit Company, local feed mill in the 1950`s"

So they're saying the DAR owned this originally. Any history here that can confirm that?

I also moved this out of the ad section because I don't want this thread to disappear. ANyone want to download the photos and repost them directly to this thread to save them.

I wonder if this description is based on the history of the land, as opposed to the history of the building. It was common for apple warehouses to be built by fruit companies on trackside land leased from the DAR. The real estate agent's search may just have shown the DAR as land owner.

I am not as ambitious as Matt and his fine idea of a DAR themed heritage railway. My win the lottery dream is to buy an old apple warehouse and fill it with with a giant DAR layout!
