For anyone who's not seen it, here is a link to the first newly constructed steam engine in the U.S. in 30 years:

Now, to tie this into the DAR, it got me thinking about a business idea. Being that the Windsor & Hantsport is out of service and may not run again, the line could potentially be sold and used for a tourist operation. Strasburg Railroad is capable of building steam locomotives and wooden passenger cars, so an accurate W&A or DAR train could be created and run between Windsor and Wolfville.
I'd have to win the 6/49 to make this dream a reality, but more realistically, a business man/woman or a company with vision could do it too. If tourist train operations work in other parts of North America, why can't it be done here?

Re: Another "What if.."
Yeah I've had some long thoughts of doing something like that fixing up the line so I could do summer tour trains. Also I'd have the line setup for a high speed passenger rail service for commuting into the city.
Yeah though winning the lotto would help alot!
