I just got finished the forum upgrade from 3.0.4 to 3.0.8.
The wiki is a bearcat to upgrade and I'm still having trouble with that one. Please don't edit anything for now!
Thanks for your patience as we were down for almost 2 days there while I got all my ducks in a row.

Re: Site Upgrade
I seem to have gotten the wiki back on it's feet now. I uploaded a file and it seems to be working the way it was before, if not a little better.
Many new features have been added which is why I wanted to upgrade from 1.6 to 1.16 at this time.
Let me know if there are any issues!

Re: Site Upgrade
Thanks for the upgrade Steve. I uploaded an image and it worked fine. Any new features we should look out for?

Re: Site Upgrade
I've been steadily upgrading the fourm software over the years, but this is the first time I've done the wiki. It's a lot more work and not a very smooth process but I hope to find the switch to list 5 thumbnail across a page for the whole site soon, once I'm finished with all the tweaks to both the DAR site and finishing the install of the HSW site.
There shouldn't be any major difference day to day but you will find that the addition of caching should speed serving the wiki up. If you look at the special pages, there's quite a few more than there used to be and they are formatted slightly differently. That's about it. I was also interested in experimenting with mobile pages, which this version now supports. We'll see about that at a later date.
Speaking of 5 thumbs across the page, what screen resolution is everyone using? 5 across might not be good for anyone who is 800 x 600 but should be good for 1024 x 768 and up in width.
The only major reason I keep updating the forum is for it's security especially against SPAMbots. There are now even more additional steps to register on the forum and while it's getting downright annoying to register here because of all the counter measures, it doesn help keep the 10 or more automated SPAM registrations that get through every day. I can't imagine what it would be like without all the conutermeasure but for instance by the time I discovered a configuration hole on another site I run, there had been more than 40,000 messages in 20 days. What a mess. Any that wasn't the first time a site of mine has been spammed!

Re: Site Upgrade
I noticed from the logs the private email stopped working. You don't want to know why..
Suffice to say it's FIXED now!
