timetables

Post by hollyhanes »

Who donated the 1911 Timetable, 1938 and the 1963? Holly was wondering if she could use those in her book? She was also looking for the last passenger timetable somewhere around 1978-1979 to show the poor times it had as one railway worker said that the scheduling of the train really reduced passenger travel.

All (99%) images on the wiki have been identified as to their source or photographer and their collector.

Timetables would be the property of Canadian Pacific Railways and as such I imagine you'd want to talk to them about using their timetables in any commercial venture.

Many of these type of documents, like timetables, have been set up by me this way for readability. Clicking on any particular page however should bring you to the original image page where collector and other information can be had as well as a higher resolution copy of that individual image.

You should find that Bob MacIntosh, Chuck Conway and myself are the individual collectors of these particular items.

As far as the law goes, it is your due diligence to find out about the commericial use of images in publications. No one here is qualified or willing to give you legal advice concerning these issues. You need to contact a copyright lawyer as we can not nor will not address these kind of questions here.
