Steam4Me site gone

Post by hecrowell »

I am wondering if anyone has heard any rhumors about the Steam4Me site. It has been down now for nearly 2 weeks - maybe more. :(

There were plenty of great tutorials on that site for newbies like myself. I did not get a chance to actually save any of the content of the tutorials, only the URL addresses where they could be accessed. Now it's a list of useless addresses as they are no longer accessible due to the disappearance of the site.

Maybe if I am lucky, someone has saved them as an actual document and wouldn't mind sharing? maybe?....................... :?: :?:

Just wondering............................

Maybe we at the dpi could consider our own tutorials similar to what there is at S4M. I am quite sure that some of the members here have been down the road far enough to put together something for the newcomers. I wish I was versed enough in MSTS and its editors, etc to contribute to this cause which I think would be a worth-wile venture,

Better still, perhaps we would be allowed to have those at S4M reproduced here at the dpi (providing we could ever get access to them again). Maybe its crazy of me to think this and hope I am not out of line or stepping on toes, but it is only a suggestion. I am probably way behind the times here because this has more than likely already been thought of.

I dont know how you knew this or for that matter even found it out, but in my estimation, you are absolutely brilliant!
Thanks so much -
