My 2 Cents This month

Thanks to all who have sent me contributions to be uploaded to the wiki and at the same time please accept my apologies for being 2 CDs, 2 Videos and one tape, 2 photos albums and 200 MacIntosh photos behind.

I've simply gone and put too much on my plate this last year; the regular yadda yadda with the kids and grand-kids, my Mom and Dad and their computers and pet projects (my Mom just finished writing her first book - shes 75! http://barbarameredith.com/), the condo board I'm on and am now bailing out of along with preparing to sell and move, my wifes' and mine various pet projects like our church's VBS/Sports camp and our Christian Brazilian group, my 8 other web sites including the Museum site and last and not least my band that takes up 2 nights a week.

Hey, did I ever tell anyone about our band? It's good hard rock and so most of you may not like it that much but here a sample just for you guys now that I've aroused some curiosity from our upcoming CD. Please don't pass it around though.. it is Copyright material.

I want to also thank you all for coming up with the coffee cup idea and organizing this and seeing it through to a very successful end. You all need to slap each other on the back "big time"!

And so it's 12:30 am again in my life and it's time to get going to bed.

Hi Steve,

I am willing to scan and upload some of the material you have recieved. Unfortunately, I am not set up for video. Do you plan to host video on the wiki?

As you have probably noticed, I'm fixing up my pics on the wiki before uploading any thing else. And believe me, I have more!

Perhaps I've whined too much!! Thanks for your generous offer and if you lived in my neighborhood I wold probably take you up on it but this is way too much stuff to be shipping across the country.

What might really help though is if I could get it uploaded into a holding area where others like yourself could all add the descriptions and categories then that would save me a whole lot of time. This would work particularly well for the MacIntosh photos to start off with. I already have the spread sheet with the file names on it. All that has to be done is to locate the file name then add in the descriptions, the photographer and collectors info and then connect the photos to the subject matter.

Any takers?
