Billtown Station

I just uploaded some images of the Billtown Station and did up a short history of this rare surviving North Mountain Line station:

I also uploaded a nice early winter shot by A.L. Hardy of locomotive No. 26. My family bought the original print at an auction of Addy Nichols railway stuff a few years ago.

I shot this station some time in the past couple years. Its amazing that it has survived in its current condition. It would be great to have it saved.

I was shocked to see the Aldershot station survived. Any idea what it looks like inside?

I haven't seen the inside of the Aldershot Station but I'm told it is well maintained, although the interior has been pretty heavily renovated. Nice that they kept the traditional eave brackets on the outside.

Who owns the station now? For some reason I'm thinking the Stirlings. If it is them, they never like to sell anything... I'd love a chance to help save that station, since it's the last one from the line. The main thing is to making it last a bit longer is to keep the sills up off the ground and keep that roof tight.
