Bernard Leslie Mailman 1929-1998
B. Leslie Mailman was a DAR maintenance worker from Clementsport. Mailman joined the DAR in June 1946 and retired in March 1991,[1] working largely on MOW work. Mailman lived in one of the oldest homes in Clementsport, the Solomon Bowlby House, with his wife Cora. B.L. Mailman died in 1998. After Cora died in 2014,[2] their estate was auctioned off on April 30, 2016 including Mailman's lifetime of DAR memorabilia and track tools.
