Paradise Historical Society
The Paradise Historical Society has a mandate to create and maintain a museum to preserve and promote the history of Paradise; offer indoor and outdoor workshops on a variety of topics such as heritage construction and conservation; maintain the Heritage Garden which honours the memory of students and teachers of the school and run periodic workshops for children to educate and inspire them.
The society owns and is restoring the 1894 Second Empire building known as the Paradise School/Academy to serve as an Annapolis County and Province of Nova Scotia Heritage site.
Use of Contributed Material
The Paradise Historical Society has given the DARDPI wiki permission to display their photos on-line and for individuals to enjoy them for their own personal study of the D.A.R. The Wolfville Historical Society reserves all rights on their photo collection for any commercial use and forbids the use of these images on any other site without their express permission.
