Imbertville

Imbertville, Nova Scotia

Subdivision Yarmouth, Mile 14.46
Next Station East: Bear River
Next Station West: Smith's Cove

It received a station in 1914[1] and continued to be listed as a station until about 1943.

The station name however caused some confusion as it was located in what was generally known as Smith's Cove. However the DAR had already established a Smith's Cove Station near the Big Joggins Bridge, so the name Imbertville was used for the station in Smith's Cove.[2] The station was closed about 1952. The building was purchased by Arthur Stone of Digby. He moved the station and converted it to a restaurant, "The Bon-E-Lass". The building still stood in 2088, although closed and covered in vegetation.[3]
