1893 Nova Scotia Chapter 143 - An Act to amend an Act of the present Session, An Act to authorize the sale of the Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway to the Windsor and Annapolis Railway Company, Limited
An Act to amend an Act of the present Session, entitled, "An Act to authorize the sale of the Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway (formerly the Western Counties Railway) in the Province of Nova Scotia, to the Windsor and Annapolis Railway Company, Limited."
An Act was approved by the Nova Scotia legislature on April 28th 1893 to make an adjustment in an act already approved in the same session. The earlier act was Chapter 141 of the Acts of 1893. This earlier act allowed the Windsor and Annapolis Railway to purchase the Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway (formerly known as the Western Counties Railway).

An Act to amend an Act of the present Session, entitled, "An Act to authorize the sale of the Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway (formerly the Western Counties Railway) in the Province of Nova Scotia, to the Windsor and Annapolis Railway Company, Limited."
(Passed the 28th day of April, A. D. 1893.)
Summary of the Act:
Section 1 - the words "in amount" were added immediately following the word "majority" in section one of an act passed earlier in the session.
Section 2 - a section was added to that earlier act saying it would not come into operation until published in the Royal Gazette by order of the Governor-in-Council.
