Summary
Canadian National insulated boxcar 291735 sitting on the mainline on the west side of Waterville at Rafuse Road, after rolling out of control from the Berwick Bakery circa 1980. Story and description courtesy Bryce Johnstone: "Box car picture taken by my grand parents place (where I live now) - that got free from Berwick Bakery in the night headed east (side crossing still open) then rolled down tracks - South Street Crossing, Berwick, Morse's Farm Crossing(s), Bent Road and Rafuse Road Crossings in Waterville, in the dark with no crossing warning lights and luckily no one got hurt. Snowed after it stopped. When my grandfather called to tell the rail way they thought he was nuts, he said the 10 am east bound dayliner will find it then ! They did sent a locomotive out from Kentville eventually and they took it away."
