Summary

Louis Comeau collection

Engraving used was Windsor and Atlantic Railway letterhead by General Manager Vernon Smith 1869-1872, later republished in a newspaper and thought to represent the line at Mill Brook near Kentville from the Comeau Family Collection. A signature indicates the engraving was made by the Lawrence Johnson Company of Philadelphia, who were noted for their type faces and engraved graphics.
