Mission Statement
To collect, preserve and exhibit the history of the Annapolis Valley from Windsor to Digby

To have the Annapolis Valley actively engaged in its heritage; built, cultural and natural. To impart a sense of pride to all communities.
Mandate
To tell the history of the Annapolis Valley and its people by collecting, preserving and interpreting artifacts, archival material and intangible forms of heritage. To create a greater understanding through research, publications, exhibitions, public programs and other activities.
Values
We are passionate about our communities, their people and heritage. We value community engagement, collaboration and partnerships, physical and intellectual accessibility and accountability to our stakeholders.
About the Macdonald Museum
Our museum is located in the former Macdonald Consolidated School building, which was founded by Sir William C. Macdonald, educational philanthropist. Located at 21 School Street, Middleton, N.S.
