This unit, along with VIA Rail No. 6143, made the last trip from Halifax to Yarmouth on January 14, 1990. The return trip to Halifax in the early morning hours of January 15, marked the last trip made by an RDC on the DAR.

Later sold to Dallas Area Rapid Transit.
