The Legislative Library’s primary mandate is to serve the information needs of the Members of the House of Assembly, their caucus and constituency office staff and staff of the Legislature.
The Legislative Librarian is Mr. David McDonald.
The Legislative Library's primary mandate is to serve the information needs of the Members of the Legislative Assembly and their caucus staff.[1]
Services to the public
Members of the public may visit the library and use the collection during regular daytime hours. Library materials may be borrowed through interlibrary loan, with some exceptions; reference books, legislative materials, and fragile texts may only be used in-house. Loans are for two weeks. Staff assistance to the public may be limited depending on the activities of the House of Assembly.[2]

Use of Contributed Material
The Nova Scotia Legislature Library has given the DARDPI wiki permission to display select photos on-line and for individuals to enjoy them for their own personal study of the D.A.R. The Nova Scotia Archives reserves all rights on their photo collection for any commercial use and forbids the use of these images on any other site without their express permission.
